Ha Noi, Viet Nam – Devcon, the Ethereum Foundation’s premier developer conference, joins forces with FOSSASIA Open Tech Summit 2024. 

This collaboration brings together open-source and crypto native tech enthusiasts from around the world for “Ethereum Builders’ Day”, an immersive track focused on use cases and technology stacks within Web3. Celebrating over a decade of innovation and collaboration, this year’s FOSSASIA summit anticipates welcoming 3,000 global participants to Ha Noi, Vietnam from 8th to 10th April.

“The adoption of crypto technologies in Vietnam positions it as an area uniquely qualified for Ethereum’s positive impact within Southeast Asia. FOSSASIA’s deep grassroots relationships with open source communities in the region make them the ideal counterpart to reach shared audiences and further enrich the Ethereum developer ecosystem” said Skylar Weaver from the Ethereum Foundation Devcon team.

This initiative is a precursor to Devcon 7 in Thailand, November 2024, designed to energize and activate the local Southeast Asia community towards the future of blockchain and open source technologies.
